Bowling tryouts are coming to an end, and according to coach Marty Hopper, the team is young because they only have two senior boys.

Hopper said the team leaders for the boys’ team would be the two seniors, Jared Reida or Ben Klausmeyer, and for the girls’ team they would be juniors Kelsey Reida or Aeriana Whitney.

The most challenging teams they will play are Bishop Carroll, Goddard and Goddard Eisenhower, said Hopper. Hopper does not know how prepared and confident the team is because they are still trying to find their way around.

There will be three home meets at Cheney Lanes, which will give fans lots of opportunity to watch the Cards in action. Tournaments begin in January, and schedules can be found on the website.
