Meet Recap

On the best weather day for golf this fall season the Cheney Girl’s Golf team played their best round of golf so far this season. After posting the second best 18 hole team score in school history last week the Lady Cardinals improved by 5 strokes to set a new Cheney High School record of 366 as they earned a second place finish at the Andale Invitational on Monday at Cherry Oaks golf course. Leading the way was Amy Akler with a personal best 84, followed by Lauren Reischmann with a personal best of 92, Macy Wallace came in with a 94,
Kylie Young (96), Morgan Ayres (101), Emory Ast (112) and Addy Cokely (121).
Cheney turns around quickly and travels to Pretty Prairie for a 9 hole tournament on Tuesday. CPL League tournament will be hosted by Cheney on Monday October 3.
