Meet Recap

The Cheney Girls golf team qualified for the KSHSAA 3-1A state tournament on Monday by earning a runner up finish in the regional tournament. The tournament was at the Lake Barton Golf Club and hosted by Hoisington. Top golfers for Cheney were Amy Akler (90) as she was the second place individual medalist, Macy Wallace (95) was 5th medalist, and Lauren Reischmann (106) was 10th medalist. Emory Ast (111), Kylie Young (113), and Morgan Ayres (118) rounded out the State bound squad.
Cheney will head to Garden City and The Buffalo Dunes Golf Course on Monday, October 17th for the KSHSAA 3-1A State Tournament
