Meet Recap

The Lady Cardinal Golf team earned a second place finish at the Pretty Prairie Invitational on Tuesday, September 26th . It was a cool, cloudy afternoon that with a steady rain in Cheney at the time of departure, thoughts of not going were being tossed around. But with the assurance that no rain was falling in Pretty Prairie the Lady Cards headed north west and were glad they competed. Cheney shot a nine-hole score of 204. Morgan Ayres was the fifth medalist with a 47 total. Makenzie Cox shot a 50 to earn the 7th place medalist. Each golfer for the Lady Cards finished below the 60 stroke mark for the first time this year. Rounding out the individual scores were Addy Cokely (52), Emory Ast (55), Natalie Craig (55) and Emmy Martin (56).
Cheney will golf on Wednesday, September 27 at Cherry Oaks in Cheney starting at 1:00. This is a make up of Monday’s Andale 18-hole tournament which was postponed
