Cardinals News · Summer Workouts – Week of June 8 (revised)

Sedgwick County has modified the reopening guidelines which will require us to modify our June 8 groups. Instead of groups of 45, we will be limited to groups of 20 through July 3rd. Health and safety protocols such as screening questions, use of hand sanitizer, cleaning of equipment, bringing your own water and towel, and distancing will still be in order.

The groups, times and locations are here. **edited to comply with Sedgwick County order**

Students on the west turf should enter at the west gates near the maintenance building and exit the track to the west. Students on the east turf can enter at the ticket booth and exit through the east gates. Students on the east field should enter the walk in gate on the corner of the building and exit through the double gates into the parking lot. Students at the bus barn can park along curb to enter and exit the field.

If you need to change groups or don’t see your name listed, contact Mr. Hague, thague@usd268.org to get it changed.

Groups will change again June 15 as we will be able to move inside, still restricted to groups of 20.

In order to be eligible for athletic camps/competitions, KSHSAA has required 10 workouts for all sports, 15 for football for acclimatization prior to participation. The outdoor and indoor workouts provided by school staff count towards the required workouts for camp and/or competition eligibility.

If you plan to participate in any summer activity at Cheney this summer, parents and guardians must complete this consent form.
